Welp.  I have gone and done it. 

I applied for a job.  My previous boss from 8 years ago called with a heads up on a position that was opening up with the company here at our current location.  It involves a little travel and training new employees (both of which are a little out of my comfort zone).  But I ended up applying.

I got the job.

So - for the first time in 8 years I am actually heading back out into the work force.  The pay is pretty good, and I am really looking forward to starting.  I am still a little apprehensive since it has been so long.  I start on Monday.  I will let you all know how it goes!  Yikes!
